Interested in joining?

In order to join the club, prospective members will need to attend and complete a beginners course. This course is designed to provide an in depth introduction to the sport, teach you the method used in shooting and impart range/bow safety & etiquette. Details on our courses can be found below.

  • Already a member of Archery GB or Another Club?
  • Moving into Sussex from further afield?
  • Returning to the sport after a break?

Chances are you won’t need complete a beginners course! Please contact enquiries@crawleyarcheryclub.co.uk to let us know your situation, and we can discuss the next steps for joining!

Beginners Courses 2026

All our Beginner Courses will start up in mid May. If you’re interested, please register to join our mailing list.

The cost is £80 per person.

All equipment required for the course will be provided.

Course 2 – weekend:

Day one: Sat    09 May 09:30 – 13:30
Day two: Sun   16 May 09:30 – 13:30

Course 3 – weekend:

Day one: Sat    13 Jun  09:30 – 13:30
Day two: Sun    20 Jun  09:30 – 13:30

Course 4 – evenings:

Day one:   Tue    07Jul   17:00 to 20:00
Day two:    Wed  08 Jul  17:00 to 20:00
Day three: Thu   09 Jul   17:00 to 20:00

Course 5 – weekend:

Day one: Sat    15 Aug  09:30 – 13:30
Day two: Sun   22 Aug  09:30 – 13:30

Have-a-go sessions starting late March at £10/hr/person, weekends only.

    Our coaches come from a variety of backgrounds, and this gives each coach a distinct approach to their coaching. They all hold Archery GB Coaching qualifications, a current DBS and Safeguarding qualifications.
